Bangalore city witnessed the World’s richest 10K run

When the sun went up in the city on Sunday, May 25, Bangaloreans witnessed the world’s richest 10K run. 
A plethora of humanity, ranging from some of the world’s best distance runners to the curious first timers, were seen in action.

Celebrities from all walks of life, participated to add touch of glamour to the event that offered a prize-money of $150,000. 

And after the Mumbai marathon and the Delhi half marathon, the 10K in Bangalore is supposed to be the richest in the world. 

The race had both the serious and amateur runners who test their endurance levels. 

A total of six races were organised as part of the event namely:
  1. World 10 K Elite Men
  2. World 10K Elite Women
  3. Senior Citizens' Run (4 Km)
  4. Wheelchair Event (4 Km),
  5. Open 10K Run & IT Challenge
  6. Majja Run (5.7 Km)

The event had participation from from a few BIG names from the industry, both in terms of people and in terms of Brands.
